At Burns Scalo Real Estate, we are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator/Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for administering contracts and leases and supporting the legal, finance and brokerage departments. 


Position Responsibilities : 

  • Populate template contracts and leases
  • Process leases and contracts by entering pertinent information into the appropriate software
  • Collect certificates of insurance and ensure ongoing tenant and vendor compliance with insurance requirements
  • Collect and manage return of security deposits
  • Assist counsel and business leaders with due diligence and closings
  • Prepare correspondence to tenants and vendors
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual leasing reports
  • Process and oversee the payment of leasing commissions
  • Monitor and report on monthly and quarterly brokerage commitments
  • Analyze inputs in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program and report on same


Position Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related field required. Demonstrated related experience may substitute for preferred education
  • Background in real estate, accounting, or law a plus
  • Real estate license preferred or willingness to obtain within the first six months of employment required
  • Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, flexible, diligent with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team; capable of building strong internal and external working relationships
  • Strong data management and data processing skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high energy and team-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of SAGE 100, SAGE 300 and Yardi or other similar systems a plus but not required
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
