At Burns Scalo Real Estate, we are seeking a skilled Outside Portfolio Broker to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, building, and maintaining relationships with potential future and current tenants. The Outside Portfolio Broker’s main objective is to lease vacancies outside the Burns Scalo Core Portfolio, independently and working alongside with members of the brokerage team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Cultivate relationships through networking, cold calling and other outbound activities to originate clients and prospects.
  • Promote properties through advertisements, walk throughs and participation in listing services.
  • Follow-up with prospects and close deals.
  • Present relevant and meaningful information about BSRE’s products and services to potential clients.
  • Communicate and coordinate with several departments to ensure terms and documentation are properly executed.
  • Prepare and submit monthly leasing reports to management.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and actively engage in networking and speaking events.
  • Coordinate with marketing department on specific projects.
  • Maintain active membership in industry related associations and regularly attend events.
  • Perform market studies and research to gain consistent knowledge of the applicable commercial real estate market.
  • Draft leasing forms including but not limited to Letters of Intent (LOI’s), leases, lease abstracts, commission agreements, tenant representation agreements, co-broker agreements, referral agreements, listing agreements and other related leasing documents with consultation of in-house counsel.
